DBT Skills Training Group – Parent July

Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) Skills Training Group – Parents of Teens

Your teenager is almost done the DBT Skills Training group for Teens. We are offering all caregivers of our teens to also learn a little bit about the same skills the teens have been working hard to learn. The more people in your teen’s world who understand DBT skills and can speak some of that language, the more likely they are to use and fully integrate the skills into their life. Not to mention, these skills are useful and effective for everyone, so you will also be able to use these skills to help manage your own stress and emotions.

We will be hosting a 2 hour session on Wednesday, July 6 from 6-8pm over Zoom for any caregiver who would like to learn the skills and concepts that have been taught in the group so far. We do insist that cameras be turned on during the entire session so we can have an interactive experience.

The zoom link for the session will be sent to you via email upon completion of registration. If you do not receive a confirmation email, please check your junk folder if it is not there, please contact events@mcmancalgary.ca.
