Sibshops – ages 11, 12, and 13
Sibshops provide young brothers and sisters with peer support & information around their sibling’s disability in a safe setting. Siblings will meet (virtually) with other siblings to have fun, laugh, & talk about the good & not-so-good parts of having a sibling with a disability. We will play games, learn, chat, and of course have fun!
This series of Sibshops are for Sibs ages 11, 12 and 13 years of age
The dates and times for these sessions are:
SEPTEMBER 17 @ 6:30 – 8:00
OCTOBER 15 @ 6:30 – 8:00
NOVEMBER 19 @ 6:30 – 8:00
DECEMBER 10 @ 6:30 – 8:00
Once you register, an invoice (at $0) will be emailed to you with the Zoom meeting link. The registration date says only September 17th, however, you are registering for all 4 sessions and will use the same Zoom link for all 4 sessions.
We ask that Sibs join the meeting in a private place in your home so they can talk freely about their sibling with a disability and their feelings without fear of causing hurt feelings to parents or their sibling. We do understand that this needs to be balanced with being safe online so if you have any concerns please contact firstname.lastname@example.org
