Community Partnerships Strengthen McMan Calgary’s Mission to Support Vulnerable Populations
McMan Calgary and Area recently received a generous $500 donation from the Foothills Retired Teachers' Association (FRTA), which will be matched up to 50% through the Shaw Birdies for Kids presented by AltaLink program. This thoughtful contribution, suggested by FRTA member and longtime supporter of McMan Calgary, Fran Porter, will go even further in helping us address pressing community issues like homelessness, mental health challenges, and poverty.
Community partnerships, like those with Fran Porter and the FRTA, are the backbone of McMan Calgary’s mission. Their generosity fuels our life-changing programs, from Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to housing support for vulnerable youth. We are deeply grateful for their support and for the many ways they inspire others to get involved. Whether by donating, volunteering, or joining us for our annual Charity Golf Tournament, these partnerships make an incredible difference in the lives of those we serve.
