2nd Annual Indigenous Showcase

McMan Calgary & Area is proud to host the 2nd Annual Treaty 7 Celebration & Cultural Showcase on Friday, June 13th, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the Erin Woods Community Centre. This free, public event will honor Indigenous cultures, teachings, and celebrate National Indigenous History Month.
McMan is celebrating 50 years of serving children, youth, and families across Alberta. Guided by our strategic priorities, we are truly committed to reconciliation and uplifting Indigenous voices. The event will feature cultural dance performances, Blackfoot drummers, Elder teachings, a Champion Hoop Dance performance by Sandra Lamouche, vibrant Treaty 7 vendors, and a 50th anniversary community giveaway. What to Expect:
- Tipi raising and teachings led by local Elders
- Indigenous artisans and vendors from across Treaty 7
- A family-friendly atmosphere with food trucks, music, and community giveaways
- Cultural Showcase and Round Dance open to all
The event will be held from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Friday, June 13th, at 83 Erin Woods Court SE.
